To help staff and their students plan for the Media Festival here is a time-line of events leading up to the Festival Exhibition and Award Ceremony.
September - Dates for entry deadline and festival event are determined
November - A reminder is sent to librarians, former entrants and Model School Committee members about the festival as a way to encourage participation.
January - Posters and entry forms are sent to school libraries
April - Deadline for entries (usually the first Friday in April)
May - Festival exhibition and award ceremony (usually the second Wednesday in May)

Throughout the year, BOCES Instructional Support Services conducts a series of professional development workshops for teachers and staff who are interested in integrating multi-media projects into their teaching activities. Information on these workshops can be found on the My Learning Plan web site, where teachers can also enroll in these workshops.
